  • What is DeFi?
    Decentralized Finance (DeFi) is when the user has full custody of their money, third party and intermediaries are no longer apart of your money movement. You can store your assets in a wallet with private keys you hold, similar to a saftey deposit box but in the digital world.
  • What is an On / Off Ramp?
    You can connect your bank to an exchange allowing you to purchase and sell your crypto to get your money back to your bank account.
  • How do I buy Solana?
    You can purchase Solana by going to the exchange Kraken, making an account, verifying KYC and adding a bank account, debit card or credit card to the exchange and purchasing Solana. Some other exchanges you can use to purchase Solana are. Coinbase, Crypto.com, Gemini, KuCoin, Binance, OKX, MEXC, and many many others.   • What is Validating?
    A validator is a participant in a Proof of Stake (PoS) blockchain network that is responsible for validating new transactions and maintaining the security of the blockchain. Validators do this by staking their crypto to support the network. This is also partially true, validating can also be in form of running a node which requires computing power to solve blocks. If you run a validator you are essentially the server that make the transactions happen on-chain.
  • What is Delegating?
    Delegating is staking your crypto to support the network. You can stake your crypto to earn yield as you are ponying on top of the validators and earning a yield for providing liquidity.
  • What is an NFT?
    NFT is a non-tangible token, in its inception, the NFT was primarily used for Art. However it is shaping its way into DeFi in an interesting way, it can now be assigned as a contract or connection point to a wallet. NFTs are being used on the solana network to link to your wallet and used to move assets from one daap to another.
  • What is a Dapp?
    Decentralized Application (Dapp) this is an app that has been build on the Web³ stack. It is built and operates on the blockchain which allows you to interact with different protocols and ecosystems simply by linking to that application with a wallet / on-chain address.
  • What is a VPN?
    Virtual Private Network (VPN) this allows a computer to reflect that it is in a different location that it actually is (Computer in New York, would show that it is in Spain). We do not recommend using this and it is only at your own merrit. This has implications on the law in different states and jurisdictions.
  • How do I add a new question & answer?
    To add a new FAQ follow these steps: 1. Manage FAQs from your site dashboard or in the Editor 2. Add a new question & answer 3. Assign your FAQ to a category 4. Save and publish. You can always come back and edit your FAQs.
  • Can I insert an image, video, or GIF in my FAQ?
    Yes. To add media follow these steps: 1. Manage FAQs from your site dashboard or in the Editor 2. Create a new FAQ or edit an existing one 3. From the answer text box click on the video, image or GIF icon 4. Add media from your library and save.
  • How do I edit or remove the 'Frequently Asked Questions' title?
    You can edit the title from the FAQ 'Settings' tab in the Editor. To remove the title from your mobile app go to the 'Site & App' tab in your Owner's app and customize.
